What's In Your Medicine Cabinet?

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

The article* referenced a medicine cabinet.

Do newer and updated homes even have them anymore?

Our home doesn’t, but I know what they’re talking about. It’s the place where you store all those little pills that keep you going.

And the older we get, the more room we have to make in those cabinets for more and more bottles.

I’m happy to report that in heaven, you will not have a medicine cabinet. Or a medicine drawer. In fact, there are no pharmacies or pharmaceutical companies.

While I am grateful for these wonderful little pills here on earth, I am more grateful that we will not need them in the new heaven and new earth! Not even aspirin or ibuprofen, for the verse says “no more pain.” Hallelujah!

But until then, will you pass me the Tylenol?

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us doctors, pharmacists, and scientists who help us to live better while we live for You right now. And thank You that You are going to take away all sickness and pain from those who know You. We long for that day, and most of all, we long to be with You. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
